At the end of the season, each student will take part in the Gator Heptathlon Olympics! They will all compete in the 7 events they learned all season while representing the country of their choice (Opening Ceremony Parade and all).

Wednesdays

Artsy Adventures - (Grades 1-3): Mrs. Lightman - Artsy Adventures is all about working with materials, being creative, and feeling a sense of accomplishment. We will focus on the process and exploration of a variety of mediums including paint, clay, fabric, cardboard, wire, and slime (shhh…this is a surprise for the last day). Kids will be encouraged to use their imagination and problem-solve using materials. The goal will be for kids to build confidence through exploring the tactile qualities of materials, discovering their creative side, and most importantly having fun!

They will pick up valuable skills along the way such as planning, designing game assets, and creating digital special effects. Students will complete an “item collection” and a card-matching game, both customizable. If you are a returning student, you can continue to advance your skills further with additional gaming design projects.

Pokemon - (Grades 1-5): Ms. Leschinsky - Wednesday afternoons just got a little better for fans of Pokemon. We will spend time playing, and sharing our enthusiasm for Pokemon. Bring your love of Pokemon and let’s have some fun together.
